The Board of Trustees are pleased to announce that building work will commence this week to develop the corridor alongside the James Beckwith Studio.

At the end of 2016 the Board developed a clear strategy to take the charity and its building forward following on from the successful move to a new premises. The main target for 2017 was to develop the corridor to incorporate additional toilets and a self-care room as well making it a usable, draft free space.

When the charity first moved to the building there was a need to prioritise the building works to make best use of the funds the charity had accrued. From the photos below it is clear to see where the funds run out and the refurbishments stopped. The corridor has only been used for storage up until this point because there was not adequate heating or flooring in place.

Thanks to ongoing fundraising and a large donation we can start the works this week. The Board of Trustees would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed thus far and we urge you to support our future events so that we can push ahead with our ambitious plans for the charity.

Our Annual Ball is on the 20th May and tickets are available now. This is our main fundraising event of the year and the money raised will directly impact the building developments over the coming months. We hope to see as many of our supporters there so that we can celebrate the amazing achievements of our growing charity.
