Charity Ball 2017 (updated 16 May)

We’re looking forward to welcoming over 160 guests at our Annual Ball – Saturday 20 May at The Rayleigh Club – a record number of guests, for what’s set to be an excellent evening. A map and directions can be found below.

Guests are reminded that doors open at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm meal.

Jackie Wilson Says will entertain us throughout the evening, and we’ll have our friendly photographer there for those who want to remember the evening (or prove to their friends that they can scrub up well). We’ll likely have a bar game or two for those that want to partake, and of course the now customary Grand Raffle.

The club bar will be serving drinks until 12 midnight, and carriages will revert to pumpkins at 1am.

We are extremely grateful to this years’ sponsors who have helped make the event possible, and to the local businesses that have donated raffle prizes. Of course, we’re also grateful to each of the guests, whose ticket purchase itself helps the Charity to continue and develop its work, and whose collective presence will make a great night to be remembered (depending on the amount and type of beverages consumed).

Apart from being a lot of fun, the Ball is the major fundraising event in our annual calendar, and we look forward to sharing an update on the amount raised.

Tickets are £50 each, and include the following:

  • Welcome drink
  • Three-course meal
  • Half-bottle of wine
  • Tea or Coffee
  • Live band “Jackie Wilson Says”

 



The not-so-small print

Tickets can be purchased online or at our Studios, and are priced at £50 per person. Tickets are non-refundable.

Online bookings require payment via PayPal, but a PayPal account is not required and you can use the ‘checkout as guest option’. You can also pay a non-refundable deposit of £15 per person if preferred, but the full balance must be paid by Saturday 1 April 2017. Card payments can only be processed online via PayPal and not in person at the Studios.

Any additional needs such as access or dietary requirements should be made on the booking form to ensure we have sufficient time to make all necessary arrangements.

You will receive a unique link after booking that you can pass on to family and friends who may wish to join you, and we will endeavour to seat you together where that applies. Alternatively please add any notes onto the form above when booking if there are others coming with whom you wish to be seated. We cannot guarantee this, but will do our best for you!
