Trustee & Secretary
Pat became a Trustee in 2014, taking on the role of Secretary to the Board, having been a supporter of the charity and of Mushroom Theatre Company since her daughter joined several years prior to that. Pat spent some years working with children with additional needs in a local school, and mans reception on a Saturday morning, enabling her to see the aims of the charity come to life whilst meeting the students and parent/carers of Mushroom Theatre Company. She is delighted that EPPA are now able to offer AQA Unit Awards, and continues to provide support wherever she can.
Trustee – Chair of Board
Ian works as a professional sports coach in primary schools, and previously was a Sales Manager for the market leader in the music industry. He has been friends with Penni Bubb since 1990 and, constantly inspired by the children when he watched a Mushroom Theatre Company show, he immediately volunteered to be a Trustee when Penni launched Equal People in 2006.
Ian took over as Chair in March 2016, freeing up Dawn to focus on her role as Treasurer, and looks forward to steering the Charity forward alongside fellow Trustees and Volunteers.
